On a woven label, a small position error is not a small defect. The logo sits off-center. The relief touches the edge. One side is deeper than the other. By the time the operator sees it, the label is already scrap.

That is the real problem with a general-purpose embossing machine on woven labels. It can generate heat and pressure. What it was not designed to do is keep a narrow, flexible label in the same position through thousands of cycles. The mold may be correct; the material path is not.

This machine is built around that problem. It is a high-frequency embossing and debossing machine for roll-fed woven labels, with automatic tension control, pneumatic pressure, a pattern-specific mold, and optional E-sensor tracking. The objective is not a good sample. It is the same relief, in the same place, across the production run.

Why woven labels drift on a conventional press

A woven label is not a flat sheet. It has weave structure, a finished edge, and a hand that changes with material and width. It can curl, stretch or sit unevenly under the mold.

On a conventional hand-fed press, the operator often positions each label by eye or against a stop. The label is then pressed. If the feed is slightly different, the label moves. If the pressure is not uniform, one side gets more depth. If the temperature is not stable, the surface changes. The result is a relief that looks acceptable on a sample but drifts during a production run.

The scrap is not caused by one dramatic failure. It is caused by small position changes that repeat. On a woven label, the edge is part of the product. There is little room to hide a shift.

What this machine controls

The label path, not just the mold

The machine is roll-fed. The label stays on a controlled path instead of being placed by hand for every cycle. Automatic tension control is intended to keep the material stable as it moves from feed to press to discharge.

Pressure that can be set for the label

Pneumatic pressure is adjustable at a working pressure of 8 kg/cm². The pressure is set according to the label and the mold, so the relief is not dependent on a fixed mechanical stroke.

Heat and pressure together

High-frequency energy and thermal pressing work together. The heating plate is 350 × 250 mm. The mold works inside that area.

A mold made for the pattern

The mold is custom-made for the relief design. It is not a generic texture roller. Concave and convex relief are defined by the mold, and each new pattern needs a new mold.

Optional material tracking

The E-sensor is optional. It is added when the label or pattern needs extra material tracking. It is not standard, and it is not a substitute for a stable material path.

Automatic discharge and anti-trap protection

The machine is designed for continuous production, not one-off sample pressing. Automatic discharge reduces handling, and the anti-trap guard reduces operator risk.

The heating plate defines the working area for the mold and the relief. The machine is a line machine, not a benchtop press. It needs a stable 380 V supply and compressed air at 8 kg/cm². The quoted speed is a reference, not a guarantee; actual output depends on the label, mold, relief depth and material.

Materials and applications

The main application is woven labels and garment labels, including brand labels, care labels, size labels and composition labels with raised or recessed relief. Logos, text and symbols can be embossed or debossed when the artwork and mold allow it.

Footwear and leather goods labels can be tested when the material and mold are suitable. PU and synthetic leather are secondary options, not the default substrate. They are evaluated with a sample before the mold is confirmed.

Typical users are woven label manufacturers, label finishing workshops, and garment label factories that need a repeatable relief, not a one-off decorative sample.

Not every woven label is a good candidate. Heavy coatings, loose weave, or unstable edges can change the result. The sample decides.

What it does not do

It does not print labels. It does not cut, slit, fold, laminate, or finish label edges. It does not replace a screen printing, flexo, laser cutting or slitting line. It applies embossed or debossed relief only.

The mold is not included in the machine price. It is custom-made for each pattern and quoted separately. Every new pattern needs a new mold.

Printing and embossing are separate processes. If the label needs print plus relief, the label is printed first and embossed as a finishing step.

Mold, sample, and what we need

The mold is specific to the pattern. It is made after the artwork and sample are approved. A different drawing needs a new mold.

To confirm the configuration, send:

• One actual woven label, or a representative sample of the exact material.
• The label composition and finished width.
• The relief artwork in vector or high-resolution format, with dimensions.
• The desired relief depth.
• Whether the relief is concave, convex, or both.
• The number of tapes: 1 standard or 2 according to configuration.
• Whether the E-sensor is needed.
• The target production output.

The sample confirms the position, depth, material behavior, and whether the mold needs adjustment. We do not quote a position tolerance from a drawing alone. On a woven label, the sample is the acceptance test.

Which machine fits

If you are embossing continuous textile tape or webbing in multiple strips, the multi-strip textile tape embossing machine is the closer fit. This page is for finished woven labels where position and repeatability are the issue.

If you are not sure which configuration fits, send the label and the tape width. We will tell you which machine matches the product, not the other way around.

Service

The machine is CE certified and covered by a 1-year warranty. Machine video and technical documentation are provided, with online support and online training. On-site installation and on-site training are not included.

The machine runs on 380 V and pneumatic pressure at 8 kg/cm². Please confirm the site air supply and power before shipment.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Why does my current embossing machine put the relief off-center?

A: Common reasons are hand placement, unstable tension, and a mold that is not matched to the label path. A woven label can move under pressure. If the feed and tension are not controlled, the position changes from cycle to cycle. This machine uses a roll-fed path and tension control to reduce that drift.

Q: How does this machine keep the label in position?

A: It uses roll feeding, automatic tension control, and a pattern-specific mold. The optional E-sensor adds material tracking when the job needs it. The final position is confirmed on your actual label.

Q: Is the E-sensor included?

A: Yes. It is the standard configuration for woven label embossing.

Q: Can it make both embossed and debossed relief?

A: Yes. The mold defines raised or recessed relief. If you need both, confirm the mold set in the quote.

Q: What materials can it emboss?

A: Woven labels and garment labels are the main applications. PU and synthetic leather can be tested as a secondary option. Not every coated or heavy material behaves the same; the sample decides.

Q: Do I need a new mold for every design?

A: Yes. The mold is pattern-specific and is not reused for a different drawing. It is quoted separately from the machine. Every new pattern needs a new mold.

Q: What is the working area?

A: The heating plate is 350 × 250 mm. The mold and relief must fit that area. Send the label size and artwork so we can confirm.

Q: What speed can I expect?

A: The reference is 10 m/min per tape. Actual speed depends on the label, mold, relief depth and material. We confirm it with your sample, not from a generic number.

Q: Does it print or cut labels?

A: No. It only applies embossed or debossed relief. Printing, cutting, slitting and edge finishing are separate processes.

Q: What is included in the service?

A: CE certification, a 1-year warranty, machine video and technical documentation, online support and online training. On-site installation and on-site training are not included.

Q: Can you test our label and artwork?

A: Yes. Send an actual label, its composition and width, the artwork with relief dimensions, the desired depth, whether the relief is concave or convex, the tape count and the target output. The sample confirms the mold and configuration.

Q: How do I know if this is better than a general-purpose press?

A: If the label is flat and stable and you only need a decorative sample, a general-purpose press may be enough. If the label is woven, flexible and must hold the same position over a production run, the roll feeding, tension control, and pattern-specific mold are the relevant differences.

Send one woven label, the artwork, and the relief depth you want. We will confirm whether the pattern fits the 350 × 250 mm plate, whether you need one or two tapes, and whether the E-sensor is necessary. You will receive a machine quote and a separate mold quote.

Send your label for a sample test.
